Think your data and files are permanently removed because you have formatted your hard drive? Formatting does not delete your hard drive. It only deletes the links to files. This leaves your files not erased until overwritten with other files.
Did you know that data and files from formatted hard drives can be easily recovered using data recovery software? A crook could use data recovery software to recover personal information on your computers hard drive. You need to use disk deleting software to permanently wipe your hard drive. Disk deleting software overwrites your hard drive with 0′s or random patterns. This makes your computers files and data virtually unrecoverable.
It should be reassuring to know though that expensive hardware is needed to recover data overwritten by even the most basic disk deleting software. DVD Recorders – Tips and Secrets to Save You Time and Money
Executive Summary about DVD Recorders by P Hershon
Well there are limitations on recording which is the “Bad Stuff” and this article will give you general pointers on how to save money when buying a DVD recorder and DVD recordable media (DVD%2BR, DVD-R, DVD%2BRW and DVD-RW).
There are 3 types of DVD recorders: Internal computer DVD recorders aka DVD burners, external computer DVD Recorders aka external DVD burners and Stand Alone DVD Recorders (Some DVR’s have a DVD recording drive as well).
The main difference between the stand alone DVD recorders and the computer Internal and external recorders are that the stand alone DVD Recorders can not as far as I know record in 5.1 sound while internal and external computer DVD recorders can.
One thing however I found the Stand Alone DVD Recorder to do better/easier than a computer DVD recorder is to transfer old Video tapes to DVD.
My internal computer DVD Recorders have never broken down. If your computer does not have an internal DVD recorder, you can get a decent small external DVD recorder for between $50-$95 new. If you forget to Finalize, the DVD will not play on anything other then your DVD recorder. I hope you enjoy using your DVD recorder.
